We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater Team based in either Colonie, NY; Columbus, OH; or Any CHA Office location.

YOUR IMPACT

Our water and wastewater management offerings include full engineering and support services for industrial and municipal wastewater treatment systems from initial planning through permitting, design, bidding, construction administration, start-up, certification, and ongoing operational assistance.

At CHA, the Electrical Engineer plays a key role in the design, development, and technical analysis of various water and wastewater electrical design projects for our clients. With a focus on power distribution systems, lighting, and instrumentation and controls, this individual will monitor progress and performance of multiple projects to ensure work is delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client needs. REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related is required
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience is required
• Experience designing various systems such as power distribution, lighting, and instrument and control, specifically in water plants and wastewater treatment facilities
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit, GIS and/or water modeling software.
• Technical writing skills are a plus
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
• Desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist more senior staff
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required
• Participation in a professional engineering society/organization is preferred
