CGI is seeking a strong manager with deep experience successfully directing a Managed Services engagement from one IT Service Provider to another Provider. This candidate must bring the governance and detailed approaches for such transitions. To be successful in this role, experience transitioning from a non-cooperative incumbent preferred. At least one such transition must include a Guidewire Managed Service engagement (managing the manage service engagement from a competitor incumbent to CGI).
Responsibilities:

• Guidewire v9 suite including PC, CC, BC, Datahub/InfoCenter Production Support Enhancements Upgrade to Guidewire Cloud Migration of new LoBs to this GW platform Integrations within GW and outside Guidewire to the clients applications and external services Release Management, automated deployment process - CI/CD pipeline management Monitoring Automated testing
• Managing a global team with the majority of members located in India
• Management Reporting to the client and CGI for Transition and on-going steady state
• US Personal Lines of business including Auto, Home, Umbrella


• Understand the leadership vision and execute on that vision. Strengthen and promote the culture of innovation by setting examples.
• Identify technical challenges and propose innovative solutions to address them. Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.


Qualifications:

• Hands-on Guidewire experience and GW certification(s), ideally as a GW Lead with one Center (Config or Integration)
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall
• 7 years’ experience in the P&C industry
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skill so as to communicate with Senior Management
• Expert knowledge of Guidewire standards
• Familiar with GW PC Edge and APIs (Design and develop Guidewire integration components, including plug-ins, APIs, messaging and supporting business rules)
• Typical SLAs & SLOs for Managed Services and projects


Experience Transitioning:


• Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the transition process and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
• Proactively monitor project risks and issues, and take corrective actions as needed to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably in the insurance or software implementation industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Guidewire software solutions and their implementation of best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $108,600 -$209,100.
