What You’ll Do 
Maintains a technology roadmap that helps forecast the future state of the technical stack based on industry and technology trends, projected growth, and the evolution of applications. 
Recommends technology, drafts, and presents proposed corporate policies, drafts, and presents proposed procedures, practices, and standards. 
Ensures that new initiatives conform to the firm's long term strategic goals. 
Establishes good working relationships with peers and outside organizations. Analyzes, defines, and documents system requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware, and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs. 
Writes and maintains functional and technical specifications. 
Analyzes and estimates feasibility, cost, time, compatibility with other systems, and computer capabilities.

What We Want From You:
10-15 years in software engineering / architecture with expert knowledge working as an architect or engineer in complex, distributed, enterprise-scale development organizations 
Experience designing highly available and resilient solutions, microservices based loosely decoupled architecture. 
Demonstrated experience and expert knowledge working as an architect or engineer in complex, distributed, enterprise-scale development organizations 
Experience working with Enterprise-class SaaS products using Java, Spring, Hibernate, REST 
Applied knowledge in at least one major public cloud provider 
Broad, demonstrable knowledge of enterprise software components, including databases (relational and non-relational), virtualization, containerization, CI/CD, automation 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with senior management and executives 
Experience with software and cloud security architecture concerns and relevant technical aspects
