CG Professional Services, Inc. is Hiring a Generator Technician Near Orland, IL

CG PRO needs to hire an Experienced Generator Technician/Mechanic to join our growing business. The technician is responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics and repair of all makes and models of generators up to 500 KW. Technician should be able to perform troubleshooting. Job includes but not limited to repair of generators, automatic transfer switches, batteries and load-bank testing. Basic electricity knowledge required.

MUST HAVE AT LEAST THREE YEARS GENERATOR EXPERIENCE!

  • Requirements:* High School or Military a plus!* Trade School or at least 3 years job experience with generators* Good Driving Record a must* Background check.
  • Good attendance record - being dependable is a must.
  • Must be a good communicator, team player and have professionalism.
  • Must be able to read wiring diagrams.
  • Must be able to work independently and have strong self-management skills.
  • Must have knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair of Generators.
  • HUGE plus if you are Generac certified! We will pay for additional training as you grow with our company.

Physical Requirements:

  • You will experience climate fluctuations and will be expected to work in the cold, hot, humid and windy environments. Generators are crucial back up power to many businesses, so working outside is a given. Knowing how to dress for the climate is imperative.
  • Must be able to walk, stand, sit, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, climb ladders, reach overhead and carry 50 lbs when needed and sometimes lift up to 100 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
