CFS Transportation Provides small package delivery services for our partner health center throughout San Diego County. We’re looking for reliable, independent, and results-oriented full-time small package delivery drivers for service countywide.

The hours are (Monday - Friday 11:30am to 8:00pm)

Daily Job Duties

The following is typical of the daily job duties for a small package delivery Driver at CFS:

• Review and inspect the vehicle and equipment for safety
• Coordinate throughout the day with dispatch using cell phones and tablets
• Pick-up small packages at our distribution center in San Ysidro, and deliver to residential locations throughout San Diego County
• Operate a company vehicle in accordance with all traffic and safety laws
• Follow planned routes on a time schedule using GPS navigation
• Ensure that packages are scanned at pick-up and delivery, and any failed deliveries are accurately documented
• Return undelivered packages to our distribution center
• Fuel and clean the vehicle when necessary

Hiring Requirements

All CFS Drivers must meet the following to be eligible for hire:

• Eligible to work in the United States
• 3 years of driving experience
• Able to pass a criminal background check
• Able to pass pre-employment DOT-level physical examination
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana)
• Possess a valid Class C Driver’s License
• Have a clean driving record (provide a current DMV printout - H6)
• Able to stand/sit and to lift 25 lbs.
• Able to use GPS to navigate a route in accordance with the pre-determined schedule
• Able to use an online timecard app to clock in and out and receive information
• Able to maintain a positive attitude and exceptional customer service regardless of the situation
• Able to effectively multi-task, and to make sound decisions
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Able to communicate courteously and professionally with clients and other staff
• Able to work both independently,and as part of a team
• Bilingual (English/Spanish, or English/Arabic) a plus
