Must be comfortable working with children in partial programs and IOPs.CFG is offering:* Competitive salary* Great benefits* PTO* Paid holidays* 401k* Paid malpractice, DEA, and licensure fees* Discounted gym memberships, cell-phone plans, computers, amusement parks, theater tickets, and more.Responsibilities* An integral member of the healthcare team, coordinates patient care and communicates and collaborates extensively with the other members of the healthcare team, patients and/or patient's family/guardian.* Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics.* Provides patient and family education relative to nursing/medical and clinical services.* Consults with medical specialists associated with patient's current treatment and/or treatment history.* Provide psychiatric evaluations and treatment to patients admitted to the program.* Perform nursing histories and physical assessments.* Facilitate patient and families in meeting their psychosocial needs.* Provide medication evaluations and management in collaboration with the program's Medical Director/Psychiatrist.* Administer medication to patients as prescribed.* Annual certification in the Handle With Care behavior management system.Qualifications* A current CPR/BLS card with demonstrated and cognitive skills is required.* Must possess a Master's Degree and must have current and valid Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Practice Nurse license.* At least one year experience of providing direct patient care.* Must have prescriptive authority.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
