NOW HIRING

Position: Groundskeeper

Full time position with health, dental, vision, 40l(k), vacation benefits, uniforms & company cell phone

$16 - $18 Hour (depending on experience & skills)

Vatterott Properties is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the professional appearance of residential properties while maintaining positive tenant relations. The ideal candidate will have prior grounds and general maintenance experience, excellent customer service skills and a high degree of professionalism.

Responsibilities:

· Daily clean-up and monitoring of all lawns, walkways, drives parking lots, drains and emptying of trash and recycling containers

· Sweep and mop floors, vacuum carpet, and dusts surfaces, wipe mirrors and windows

· Cleans and sanitizes toilets in common areas

· Trims bushes, shrubs and hedges, fertilizes lawn, trees, flowers and shrubs, and spreading mulch

· Picks up and removes tree limbs, debris and trash

· Move furniture, chairs, tables and other heavy items

· Perform maintenance and minor repairs - light plumbing & electrical skillset (replacing broken light switches, repair door handles, minor leaks, etc.

· Secure property by locking doors and closing windows

· Seasonal duties: mowing, raking leaves and snow removal

· Report major damages to property manager

· Completes all assignments as instructed by supervisor and property manager

Requirements & Skills

· Proven custodian and general maintenance (light plumbing & electrical) experience

· Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances

· Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components

· Familiarity with basic landscaping and handyman practices

· Attention to detail and conscientiousness

· Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods of time

· Ability to perform physical work requiring bending, stooping, reaching, carrying and frequent heavy lifting; to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

· High School diploma or GED

Other Information:

A criminal history and background check is required and must be successfully completed as well and a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
