Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead solutions through the system's life cycle following through from inception to go live and beyond.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business needs and deliver creative solutions.
  • Deliver functional and technical requirements to development teams.
  • Advises decision makers by providing insightful data visualizations and reporting to drive impactful business decisions.
  • Leads projects in consultation with IT Security, Infrastructure Team, Business Owners, and Vendors. Drive projects end to end while ensuring stakeholder alignment along the way.
  • Ensures that all deliverables are completed in accordance with Project Management methodology; clearly and frequently communicates the status
  • Responsible for influencing the future of business Systems while engaging and participating in System / Product selection & evaluation.
  • Define Scope and strategy of quality assurance to keep the business Systems current & reliable
  • Manage operational activities on projects and enhancements, including monitoring resource needs, preparing documentations, status reports, key issues and/or change controls.
  • Analyze the overall health of business systems at CF through system issue tracking and cross-functional alignment.
  • Develops and implements corrective actions with regard to department internal controls as necessary.

Incumbent Attributes:

  • Education: BS/BA in a related field or equivalent experience typically required to complete all essential job functions. MS/MA/MBA may be preferred. Typically, incumbents will have industry-recognized professional certifications as a demonstration of their technical/ professional knowledge.
  • Years of experience: More than 7 years of related professional work experience is typically required to complete all essential job functions.
  • Other unique job-relevant attributes:
    • Experience of and participation in the change process, attending change board as a representative
    • Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations
    • Business test planning/coordination experience
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills with organization and time management skills
    • Ability to learn, demonstrate and apply knowledge of the business to deliver improvements in solutions and processes and better align IT Service with Business goals

Position Scope/Contribution

  • Breadth of Scope: Has specialized depth and/or breadth in own discipline or function. Frequently represents the function as a subject matter expert. The scope is typical across multiple functional areas or work teams but may be part of a single large functional area or enterprise wide. Typically performs significant coordination and interaction with many other functions. The impact is generally limited to the functional area(s) supported but may vary.
  • Communications and Interpersonal Skills: Regularly communicates both in writing and verbally. Communicates with broad range of internal and external contacts. Information exchanged requires advanced knowledge in a particular area. Significant influence and persuasion are likely with internal colleagues and leaders.
  • Complexity: Regularly handles complex work and unique activities within the functional area and by interacting with other functional areas. Problems usually are abstract and require multi-disciplinary solutions that involve new ideas, technologies, and/or concepts. Regularly uses a significant level of logic, and reasoning by examining multiple perspectives and critical thinking to assess situations.
  • Decision Making Authority: Likely to interpret situations and apply judgment. logic and learnings from prior similar situations to make decisions. Typically makes decisions versus recommendations. May offer guidance to less junior staff. Able to solve advanced problems that are not normally encountered.
  • Financial Accountability: Decisions made are likely to impact profit or loss and are reflective of the independent judgment, logic, and rationale for making such decisions. Given the breadth/depth, the impact may be greater than one's own function.
  • Strategic Influence: May impact the execution or achievement of short-term strategic initiatives but is not involved in the planning process.
