QC Bacteriology Lead Technician
Location: Lenexa, KS
Job Summary and Purpose:
The QC Bacteriology Lead Technician will provide daily support and technical guidance to a team of skilled technicians while scheduling and monitoring lab activities. The lead technician will ensure in-process materials and final product are tested in a manner consistent with Standard Operating Procedures and in compliance with regulations according to 9CFR.
Responsibilities and Key Duties:
Mastery of Bacteriology Technician II duties including conducting sterility, purity, potency, and extraneous testing for in-process materials and final product.

Qualifications:
Education - bachelor’s degree in microbiology, Veterinary Science or equivalent
Work Experience – Prefer 2 years in Quality in the veterinary biologics industry
Other – Leadership experience preferred
