The Export Coordinator is responsible for entering orders upon receipt, serve as the face of the company to global customers, and successfully complete timely and accurate exportation, in accordance with company policies and global trade compliance. This position requires collaboration with worldwide internal and external customers to fulfill product demand.

This position is responsible for acknowledging and processing orders and communicates with customers globally to update them with order status. Upon product availability, this person is responsible for completing final exportation of goods timely and accurately.

• Review and enter new purchase orders received from Ceva Subsidiaries and/or Distributors

• Collaborate with finished supply planner, warehouses, QA, and regulatory to enable proactive order status updates to customers

• Closely monitor estimated product release date from USDA

• Upon product release, work with customers and transportation providers to plan, coordinate, and execute export shipments

• Process orders in JDE, from confirmation stage to final billing

• Prepare trade documents, such as commercial invoice, pack list, certificate of origin, inland bill of lading, DG declaration (when required)

• Prepare SLI (Shipper’s Letter of Instruction) for forwarders. File export declaration via AES system, if and when required.

• Complete exportation in accordance with global trade compliance, customer requirements, and company policy

• Work with forwarders to rectify any issues that may arise in transit

• Assist internal customers with non-sales order import/export needs

• File cargo damage/loss claims with forwarders and issue credit notes to customers, when required

• Conduct any other tasks, as required, to fulfill business needs

Education -Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or Logistics Management preferred

Work Experience - Minimum of 2 years of import/export experience with either a freight forwarder or as a shipper. Experience in shipping perishable and/or dangerous goods is a plus.

Other - DOT and IATA certification strongly preferred. Ability to prepare standard trade documents, demonstrable knowledge in export compliance, understanding of 2010 incoterms, and being able to apply them, knowledge of Comprehension of LC (Letter of Credit) and CAD (Cash Against Document) transactions.
