Description

CESA 6 is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to assist in driving the success of multiple business units. Candidates are required to include a link to a digital portfolio showcasing knowledge of graphic design. (Include on Resume)

The Marketing Specialist plays a critical role in driving the success of multiple business units by effectively utilizing HubSpot and collaborating with a graphic designer and videographer. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong marketing and digital skills, a deep understanding of HubSpot, and a keen eye for creative collaboration. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Marketing Manager to execute marketing strategies, deliver impactful content, and generate measurable results for the organization. The Marketing Specialist reports to the Marketing Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Marketing Support
    • Assist the Marketing Manager with the development and implementation of marketing plans and strategies.
    • Support the coordination of marketing events and initiatives.
    • Inventory, organize, and procure an adequate supply of agency-provided marketing materials.
  • HubSpot Utilization
    • Manage and optimize the HubSpot CRM platform.
    • Maintain agency employee access with appropriate permission levels.
    • Create and maintain subscriptions, lists, workflows, email campaigns, landing pages, and forms within HubSpot.
    • Serve as the internal training resource for all HubSpot Hubs.
    • Assist in executing inbound marketing strategies with marketing automation.
    • Assist with lead scoring, nurturing programs, and segmentation to drive lead generation and conversion.
  • Website
    • Create, update, and maintain website content, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia elements.
    • Ensure all content is accurate, current, and aligned with the organization's branding and messaging.
    • Implement and optimize on-page SEO strategies to improve the website's visibility in search engines.
    • Optimize content for landing pages and lead capture forms.
    • Monitor website performance and analyze traffic for data-driven recommendations.
  • Social Media Management
    • Collaborate in developing and executing social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement.
    • Create and curate content for social media platforms and schedule posts for optimal reach.
    • Monitor and respond to social media interactions, comments, and messages.
    • Analyze the success of social media campaigns using HubSpot reports 
  • Content Creation and Collaboration
    • Collaborate with program assistants and coordinators to develop recurring client support content like monthly newsletters and product/service announcements.
    • Collaborate with a graphic designer and videographer to produce engaging visual content.
    • Coordinate and support the creation of marketing collateral, social media assets, and videos.
  • Digital Marketing
    • Collaborate in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across various platforms.
    • Monitor email campaign performance and adjust strategies based on results.
  • Lead Generation
    • Develop and execute lead generation strategies to grow the organization's database.
    • Optimize content for landing pages and lead capture forms.
  • Thought Leadership Initiatives
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop insightful thought leadership content to position the organization as an industry authority.
    • Assist in publishing content, including blog posts, ebooks, whitepapers, and other assets, to generate leads and engage audiences.
  • Event Support
    • Assist with the planning and execution of agency-wide thought leadership events.

OTHER FUNCTIONS

  • Produce the agency’s internal monthly employee newsletter.
  • Assist with other agency projects as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience, Education, and/or Licensure: 

  • Associate’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, content marketing, social media, and other contemporary marketing methods.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Google Ads or HubSpot Inbound Marketing, are desired.

  • Professionally represent the agency and public, private, and parochial school districts in interactions with staff, customers, vendors, and community
  • Facilitate an overall work environment of mutual respect and collaboration
  • Possess basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to be a self-starter and take initiative
  • Knowledge of and ability to follow standard filing procedures
  • Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division quickly and accurately
  • Ability to develop relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

Work Environment:

  • Ability to work in a professional and flexible office environment, with or without visual and audible distractions.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms 
  • Work extended hours for periods of time during high-demand periods 
  • The employee may occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 20 pounds.
