Certus Living is in growth mode having recently assumed management of continuum care retirement communities ("CCRC") located in PA and IL.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position reports to the CFO and prepare month-end financial reporting, support payables personnel in the local communities, prepare annual budgets, support annual audits, and general ad hoc functions to assure accounting integrity at Certus Living managed facilities. Minimum 5 years accounting experience.
FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare monthly operating financial statements, variance analysis, and cash flow and operating forecasts.
- Prepare annual budgets.
- Support annual audit, cost report, and tax return preparation.
- Support accounts payable and payroll functions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Support financial software implementation for new clients.
- Analyze all aspects of financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Communicate and collaborate with departmental leaders and key stakeholders to stay abreast of spending, budgeting, reports, and evaluation.
- Work closely with landlord and lender finance teams where necessary to ensure strong collaboration on all aspects pertaining to financial services that relate to Certus Living.
- Perform other duties as required.
