Kent Healthcare & Rehabilitation, a long-term care and skilled nursing community located in Kent, Ohio, is seeking a Certified Activities Director to join our community team and Certus Healthcare family!

Currently seeking 1 individual with an Activities Director Certification, Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, OT, or COTA to fill the opening for this position; Starting salary is $45,000 to $55,000, with room for negotiation.

We are actively hiring for one opening for this position. The schedule for the position is typically Monday through Friday, weekly, with the potential to be part of a manager on duty weekend coverage rotation.

We are interested in someone who:

• Has prior experience as an Activities Director
• Holds a Certified Activities Director Certification, a CTRS, or an Occupational Therapist License
• Enjoys challenges and has knowledge of how to adapt activities to certain situations
• Has a positive and upbeat attitude
• Has prior knowledge of documentation as well as State and Federal Guidelines

This position is ideal for someone with behavioral health and long-term care background, who wishes to continue impacting lives daily through activity engagements. We are looking for this person to create and maintain a community activities calendar, implement the activities calendar, be a member of the interdisciplinary team within our community and overall create a positive environment.
