Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller in the manufacturing field to join our team. As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This is a key leadership role that requires strong financial acumen and the ability to provide strategic guidance to the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with SOX requirements
- Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Provide strategic guidance to senior management on financial matters
- Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- CPA designation is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices, GAAP.
- Proficiency in financial report writing and analysis
- Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
