Responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping parts.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible receiving, issues, and shipping and functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Parts inside sales and Customer support

1.1. Attend to all walk-in customers

1.2. Answer all customer telephone calls

1.3. Provide support to outside part sales

2. Purchasing and Vendor control

2.1. Purchase special order items & requisitions

2.2. Purchase stock and non-stock items by MRP

2.3. Coordinate stock transfers between locations

2.4. Manage return to vendors

2.5. Purchase Price Variances

3. Receiving

3.1. Perform daily receiving, update ERP system, and reconcile daily receiving reports.

3.2. Receive packages, pallets, materials, etc. (via UPS, carriers, vendors and our truck).

3.3. Count and inspect items, label items for identification. (i.e. part and job numbers). Notify shop/office of “rush” or overnight items. 

3.4. Move received items to correct bins or storage locations.

3.5. Stamp and file all daily receivers and shipping documentation.

3.6. Clean up/ recycle packing materials.

3.7. Understands software used for receiving/packing slips (Content Central)

3.8. Understands how to receive items into Jobscope

4. Issues/ Stock Transfers

4.1. Attend parts window

4.2. Load and unload trailer.(i.e. drop deck, goose neck)

4.3. Stock all inbound intercompany transfers

4.4. Enter daily “blue sheets” by 3:00 p.m.

4.5. Pull and issue all parts for service work orders

4.6. Understands how to issue jobs into Jobscope

5. Packaging and Shipping

5.1. Pull / package parts for shipment (via UPS, common carrier, or our truck).

5.2. Prepare shipping labels (i.e. invoices, packing slips, other documents)

5.3. Complete daily shipments by 4:00 p.m. cutoff.

5.4. Restock packing materials

6. Inventory Control

6.1. Maintain bins locations (labels, locations, overflow, proper storage, etc)

6.2. Perform cycle counting

7. Miscellaneous Duties

7.1. Parts runs.(local parts pick-up and delivery) (if Applicable) 

7.2. Keep parts room clean and organized

JOB QUALIFICATIONS 

1. Pre-employment physical (physical, lifting, hearing)

2. Age 21 with clean driving record

3. Forklift experience preferred

Requirements

• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Forklift experience preferred
• Drug Screen / Physical / 50 lb. Lift Test / E-Verify
