Certified Nursing Assistant - Team Georgia Careers is Hiring an Adjunct Instructor - Certified Nursing Assistant Near Lawrenceville, GA

This job is a part time, non-benefited, FLSA exempt position in the Nursing and Life Sciences Division that reports to the Program Director of Patient Care.

 

Salary: $26.00/hr

 

Minimum Qualifications
Registered Nursing (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a current, active, unrestricted Georgia License.Minimum of two years of full‐time paid in field work experience as a RN or LPN within the past five years.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

A minimum of one year’s experience in a long‐term care facility.Experience in teaching and curriculum development.Active participation in appropriate professional/occupational organization. Train-the Trainer Workshop Attendance Certificate from Georgia Medical Care Foundations.

 

Job Description Summary:

Prepares and delivers lecture and/or lab/clinical course material. Prepares lesson plans for classroom/clinical instruction for general core courses. Evaluates students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives. Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports. Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates trustworthiness and responsible behavior. Accepts direction and feedback from supervisor and follows through appropriately. Assists with recruitment retention and job placement efforts. If offered a position, employees in this department must complete the Hazardous Materials Training as well as the Bloodborne & Airborne Pathogen training annually.
