Position Summary:

Provide world class customer service in stores asa pharmacy technician and work to satisfy every customer's needs by exceedingtheir expectations and making every shopping visit an enjoyable and remarkableexperience. Treat our customers and employees in an ethical, respectfulmanner and promote an inclusive, efficient work environment. Act as aresponsible member of the community by placing emphasis on the importance ofsafety and accuracy when handling patient needs.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Assiststore leaders and associates in providing a positive customer shopping experienceand enhance Harris Teeter’s reputation of excellent customer service

  • Mustbe willing and able to adequately perform all essential job functions and tasksof a Pharmacy Technician

  • Maintaina current national and/or state registration, certification, or licensedepending on the state requirements

  • Demonstratea commitment to providing customer service that makes all customers feelwelcome, important and appreciated

  • Supportnon-dispensing services through the use of various platforms, resources andapplications

  • Providehealth and wellness services allowed by state and other regulatory bodies

  • Enterand process patients’ information and transactions accurately and efficiently

  • Count,measure and prepare specific products according to relevant laws, regulations,policies, procedures and ethics standards

  • Followprovided staging procedures appropriately

  • Maintainrecords and reports related to pharmacy functions, volume and sales

  • Performpost-fill audits to verify that prescription information matches computerrecords

  • Understandand follow company guidelines regarding registers, payment and transactions

  • Displaya positive attitude while interacting with others

  • Properlyinspect any equipment within the pharmacy and notify appropriate department orstore managers of any necessary repairs

  • Adhereto safety programs and procedures

  • Reportall illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud

  • Assistpharmacists in all responsibilities, except those that require the judgment ofa licensed pharmacist

  • Mustbe able to perform the essential functions of this position with or withoutreasonable accommodation

  • Reflectan appropriate and respectful business image to customers and visitors indress, demeanor and attitude. Never be rude to a patient or customer

  • Assistin data entry, inventory, stocking, dispensing, reporting and sales ofprescriptions

  • Assistin maintaining a clean, organized department, including but not limited to thepharmacy, register, refrigerators and blood pressure machine areas.

  • Complywith state and federal laws in regards to pharmacy, dispensing and sales ofpharmacy and non-pharmacy products
