VP of Global Marketing Job Description
The Certified Collectibles Group (CCG) is seeking a Vice President of Global Marketing to join its dynamic and fast-growing company.
CCG’s mission is to empower collectors with services that ignite passion, create value and build community. Founded in 1987, the company’s core business is to provide authentication and grading services for collectibles including coins, banknotes, comic books, magazines, trading card games, sports cards, concert posters, video games, home video and more. Its four brands – NGC, PMG, CGC and ASG – are synonymous with trust and expertise in their hobbies.
CCG has expanded rapidly in recent years alongside growing interest in collectibles as both a hobby and asset class. In 2021, CCG was acquired by funds managed by Blackstone, the world’s largest private equity company, for more than $500 million.
Headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, CCG also has locations in London, Munich, Shanghai and Hong Kong. After expanding into multiple collectible categories in recent years, the company is now aiming to build upon its efforts to increase the awareness of its brands both domestically and internationally.
As Vice President of Global Marketing, you will be a key leader in developing and executing upon CCG’s strategy and vision. You will report directly to the company’s President and collaborate closely with other key stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to be strategic while also deeply involved in the details. You will manage a multi-million-dollar budget, a team of more than 20 talented marketing associates and several agency partners serving a diverse (and growing) range of collectible categories and regions.

Your specific responsibilities will include:
  • Develop and execute upon the overall brand and marketing strategy for the company, aligned with its strategic plan and business objectives
  • Oversee the company’s online and offline marketing and PR efforts, including trade shows, social media, display and PPC advertising, SEM/SEO, email marketing and media outreach
  • Plan and own the implementation of marketing campaigns that meet business objectives, elevate the customer experience, build engagement within the collecting community, and drive demand generation, brand awareness, customer acquisition and customer lifetime value
  • Partner with the company’s sales team to develop strategies for driving demand among dealers, auction houses, marketplaces and other platforms
  • Manage, coach and continue to build a talented marketing team
  • Manage the company’s outside digital and marketing vendors
  • Direct and support the collection and analysis of market research relating to the company’s competition, industry trends, and the understanding of customer needs, preferences and behaviors
  • Manage a multi-million-dollar marketing budget with an ability to forecast and measure ROI
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure internal awareness and alignment while fostering partnerships with employees, current and prospective clients and vendors
Your qualifications should include:
  • At least 10 years of experience in a marketing leadership role
  • Expertise in digital marketing along with robust experience in trade show and other physical marketing
  • Extensive work with international markets
  • A strong consumer marketing background
  • Bonus: Experience working in the collectibles industry

Location:
This position is a full-time position at the company’s headquarters in Sarasota, Florida. There will be occasional domestic and international travel.
