Pay: $43.40 - $46.50 / hourly

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop Engineering Test Tools and provide support in software test of John Deere's line of GNSS StarFire receivers.

· Develop and implement tools to support analysis of GNSS StarFire Receivers.

· Support and implement Test Automation features for software test team.

· Diagnose and solve software defects.

· Analyze issues in a systematic, persistent, and thorough manner.

· Execute and support software engineering test and verification of John Deere's line of GNSS StarFire receivers.

· Understand GNSS concepts and fundamentals through software test work assignments.

· Provide daily assistance and guidance for team on work assignments, which may involve working with non-technical team members to understand software issues.

REQUIRED:

· Strong Experience with Matlab, Python and C/C

· Strong Experience with Databases, SQL, and SQL server Tools

· Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft DevOps)

· Experience with test plan creation and execution

· Experience with software development life cycle and reporting/tracking software defects

· Demonstrated effective analytical, reporting, & presentation skills.

· Strong software analytical skills; problem solving and conveying complex features/issues to engineers in other disciplines

· Experience working in a team environment with cross-functional teams

DESIRED:

· Experience with Web-design, HTML, CSS

· Awareness of UI/UX principles

· Strong experience with Microsoft Project and Team Foundation Server (TFS)

· Experience in Validation & Verification Testing of Requirements, System and Regression Level Testing, Test Report Preparation, and Software Test Estimation

· Strong Experience in Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
