Role and Responsibilities:
- Assess, identify appropriate nursing diagnoses, plan, implement, and evaluate patients' care.
- Develop, update, and coordinate the patient's plan of care to achieve patient goals and optimize outcomes.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Perform and maintain currency of essential competencies required by the specific area of hire and populations served.
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care by partnering in care planning to promote the autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs of those we serve.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience required in Medical Surgical or Nephrology unit with a large hospital. For smaller hospitals, 2 years nursing experience required in Medical Surgical or Nephrology unit.
