Role and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room RN to join our team at the Outpatient Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care and collaborating with patients, families, peers, physicians, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Key responsibilities include assessing patient needs, planning care, implementing medical and nursing regimens, and upholding the highest standards of healthcare services. The role also involves integrating patient rights and nursing ethics into daily work practices, adhering to infection control standards, and participating in Performance Improvement initiatives.
Candidate Qualifications:
The candidate must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current New York registration and possess a Baccalaureate in Nursing (BSN). Knowledge of current nursing, medical, and health trends and practices in patient care is essential. One year of acute care nursing experience is preferred, along with BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as per the requirements.
