Information about the Company: Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes. We have Summer Internship opportunities immediately available for the Machine Packer position in our Williamsburg, PA manufacturing facility.

Please Note: These are temporary full-time non-union positions. The candidate must be authorized to work in the United States and will be required to pass a required drug screen and background check

Machine Packer Pay/Schedule:

• $16.01/hr shift premium $0.35/hr.
• 12 hour shifts - 2 days & 2 nights required : Day shift 7am – 7pm / Night shift 7pm – 7am
• Mandatory Overtime is required for 1-2 days during busy season

Machine Packer Responsibilities & Daily Duties:

• Loads paper on to automatic hand-fed or web envelope folding machines; pack finished product.
• Inspects quality of envelopes, labels cartons, reports variances to key personnel.
• Checks current production orders/schedules to determine daily production requirements.
• May be required to do rework on finished product; Cleans up work area during/end of shift.
• Other duties as assigned/required.

Machine Packer Requirements/Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Some work experience in a production environment is preferred not required.
• Quality inspection skills and ability to measure/read a ruler.
• Basic math, verbal/written communication, computer skills.

Machine Packer Physical Requirements & Work Environment:-

• Ability to keep up with a high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift.
• Mental alertness; Ability to step up/reach overhead/manually feed paper into machine.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds; Manual dexterity required to grasp objects.
• Exposure to arm/wrist fatigue; Exposure to noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.).
• Must be able to work in hot or cold weather.
