Summary of Position:

As an E-Commerce Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our online retail presence. You will be responsible for analyzing data, improving the user experience, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our e-commerce platform. As an E-Commerce analyst, you will also be responsible for the upkeep of the admin dashboard, overseeing product data management, promotions, orders, and customer data. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in HTML and CSS.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze e-commerce data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of our e-commerce websites.
  • Analyze user feedback and suggest improvements to enhance the online shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Department to enhance the design and user experience of websites.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in e-commerce.
  • Collaborate with IT on the implementation and optimization of e-commerce systems and tools.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to implement discounts, coupons, and other promotional activities.
  • Coordinate product listings, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Keep accurate records and documentation of product listings, promotions, and other relevant data.
  • Implement strategies to improve the conversion rates on the e-commerce website.
  • Generate reports and communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders

Qualification and Requirements:

  • E-Commerce analyst experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS
  • Experience with web development tools preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of E-Commerce platforms and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and organization skills to meet project deadlines

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2-year degree in a related field (preferred but not required)

Supervisor Responsibilities: None

Work environment:Typical office conditions – no exposure to adverse environmental conditions or loud noises.

Physical Requirements:

  • Required to sit at desk 90% of the day
  • Required to stand and/or walk at least 10% daily (may require more infrequently)
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; talk and hear
  • Vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to move up and down or stand on ladders for extended periods
