We are currently seeking Maintenance Mechanics for our Taylor St. Syracuse Facility. 

Job SummaryThe Maintenance Mechanics is responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting, other duties include maintaining and operating boilers, welding and cutting, and other system maintenance as well as facility maintenance. Tasks include start-up and shut-down procedures, 
Essential Functions

• Installs, repairs and performs preventative maintenance on industrial processing equipment
• Maintains water levels, water systems and other equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoots electrical issues. 
• Responds to maintenance requests to minimize equipment downtime.
• Provides emergency repairs of production equipment.
• Diagnoses, tests, makes adjustments and replaces or repairs parts.
• Looks to improve maintenance processes.
• Works in a cooperative and professional manner with all team members.
• Strictly adheres to all safety rules, policies and procedures required by law, follows common practice. 
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications.
• Remaining current on equipment and repair procedures as well as best practices.
• Studies blueprints and manufacturers’ manuals to determine correct machine operation and repair procedures.
• Proficient in reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Maintains records of maintenance performed.
• Follows written and verbal instructions and performs other tasks as directed by supervision.

Our Maintenance & Engineering team plays a crucial role in ensuring extended equipment life by predicting and preventing downtime and ensuring safe operation for our production team.
