Position Summary:

This position involves the processing of Customers Own Material (COM).

Position Details:

• Receive COM tickets from the plant and process
• Identify fabrics to a specific order
• Check the identified fabrics to confirm if the yardage is correct
• Check the fabric for any needed special handling (backing etc.)
• Process Customers Own Material in SAP
• Determine and release all orders that are complete and ready to release
• Process and send out written communication to our customers and to outside Vendors

Position Requirements:

• Fabric, cutting, and sewing knowledge a plus
• Ability to work individually and in a team environment
• Strong oral and written communication
• Learns quickly and independently
• Problem solving, investigative and brainstorming skills required
• Flexibility to multiple tasks
• Work directly with customers either by telephone or via e-mail
• Communication with Plant Supervisors and Customer Service
• SAP and Excel knowledge a plus
