Job Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous Concrete Estimator to join our team. You will be responsible for accurately estimating the materials, labor, equipment, and permits required for concrete construction projects. Your detailed estimates will be the foundation for project planning, budgeting, and execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, in-depth knowledge of concrete construction methods, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various Project Managers.

Project Analysis:

· Review project specifications, blueprints, and other relevant documents to understand the scope of work.

· Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for accurate estimation.

· Identify project requirements, constraints, and potential risks that may impact the estimation process.

Collaboration:

· Collaborate with project managers, Engineers, Architects, and subcontractors to validate assumptions and refine estimates.

· Participate in pre-bid meetings, Site visits, and negotiating with clients and vendors.

· Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure alignment between estimated costs and project budgets.

Documentation:

· Maintain accurate records of estimation data.

· Prepare clear and professional documentation, including proposals, bid packages, and cost reports.

· Update and revise estimates as project details evolve or new information becomes available.

Qualifications:

· Associate degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field or industry.

· Proven experience as a Concrete Estimator or in a similar role in the construction industry.

· Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, Planswift, and Microsoft Excel).

· Strong understanding of Concrete Construction techniques, Materials, Specifications, and Building Codes.

· Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

· Knowledge of construction contracts, legal requirements, and risk management principles.
