Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Georgia Department of Corrections
We are currently seeking a full-time Regional Director of Nursing.
Based in the regional office, the Regional Director of Nursing provides clinical, educational and professional supervision for site directors of nursing and support staff. The Regional DON works under the direction of the Program Manager/VPO and collaborates with medical leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team in the correctional environment to improve healthcare of incarcerated patients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's degree preferred
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
- Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience preferred
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Corrections, forensic or criminal justice experience preferred
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
