Location: Rochester, New York
Payrate: $90/hourly
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Guarantee Hours: 40 Hours
Shift: (10hr Day)
With Benefits
Monday-Friday four 10 hour shifts 7am-5:30pm
Call requirements 8-10 shifts/month
MUST COME WITH CATH LAB EXPEREINCE, we will not accept someone with IR experience only.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Technician (Allied) to join our dynamic team. The Cath Lab Technician plays a vital role in assisting physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures and other interventional cardiovascular treatments. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in operating specialized equipment and possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and nurses in preparing patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, including obtaining informed consent, positioning patients, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Set up and operate complex imaging and monitoring equipment, including fluoroscopy machines, angiography systems, and physiological monitoring devices.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and hemodynamic parameters throughout procedures, alerting medical staff to any changes or abnormalities.
- Assist in the administration of medications and contrast agents as directed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosing and patient safety.
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols to prevent complications and ensure patient safety.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or equivalent from an accredited cardiovascular technology program.
- Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent preferred.

- Proficiency in operating cath lab equipment and imaging systems.
