CENTRO is a locally owned and operated trend setting bar in the heart of downtown Lexington located at the Fifth Third Pavilion. We specialize in friendly, knowledgeable, service with a passion for excelling. We love to create a fun, relaxed environment for our customers to enjoy time after time. Be a part of an exciting, team-oriented work environment! Now hiring professional, polished, and experienced part-time and full time bartenders to join our enthusiastic team. The ability to multitask, engage in conversations with customers, think on your feet, efficiently execute drinks efficiently and exude hospitality in a fast-paced environment are essential to succeed in this position.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Interact with customers in a fun, hospitable way while assessing their needs and catering to those needs
• Make recommendations to patrons and guide them as needed in their experience
• Share knowledge with patrons in a fun, meaningful way that converts to an outstanding guest experience
• Be able to thrive in a fast pace sometimes high-pressure environment
• Maintain a clean and organized atmosphere
• Assist patrons by cleaning up their tables and offering fresh drinks
• Inform management of an issues as they arise
• Remain guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Create an energetic environment
• Work with a sense of urgency at all times
• Excel at maintaining a clean and organized bar and guest service area
• Thrive in a team environment
• Experience working in a restaurant a plus
• Formal bartender training a plus but not required
• Have outstanding previous employer references
