Centric Infrastructure Group is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near The Woodlands, TX

JOB SUMMARY:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for performing a broad range of financial planning and analytical functions, including short and long-term financial projections, capital expenditure forecasts, capital and operating budgeting and cash flow forecasting.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Analyze internal financial statements, monitor, and build budgets, and document variances.
2. Create and update deal models in concert with the VP and Business Development team.
3. Analyze trends in revenues, costs and earnings for all profit centers, lines of businesses and clients
4. Develop data visualizations using excel and share insights with stakeholders.
5. Build and maintain various financial models and standard templates for distribution within the Finance department and for use by internal clients during the deal modeling stages, ensuring quality, accuracy, and a focused analytic review.
6. Support the Finance leadership team in updating rolling financial forecast and in preparing company’s annual budget.
7. Coordination and preparation of earnings and cash flow forecasts.
8. Coordination and preparation of monthly earnings and financial results and analysis for presentation to management.
9. Coordination and preparation of quarterly earnings reports and reconciliations.
10. Coordination of the annual budgeting process and preparation of reports including earnings, cash flow, and capital budgets.
11. Preparation and analysis of forecasted cash flows.
12. Significant data extraction, ad-hoc reporting, and project-based analysis.
13. Participate in compensation management with discretion and emotional maturity.
14. Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to personnel and company information &/or transactions.
15. Demonstrate an appropriate understanding/working knowledge of general accepted accounting principles.
16. Identify non-value-added processes within the department and seek solutions.
17. Participate as a key contributor in assessing potential investment projects and opportunities using capital budgeting techniques.
18. Assess the company’s current asset status, their future needs, and investment goals.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • 2 – 4 years of applicable work experience in accounting or finance position; a thorough understanding of general accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Highly proficient user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail, with the ability to work on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously (multi-task).
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work with personnel at all levels, both within and outside the company.
  • Easily takes initiative and works independently.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems.
  • Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master of Business Administration and/or CPA
  • Knowledge of and experience with an enterprise ERP system
  • Prefer related experience in a startup, emerging growth, or private equity funded business.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
  • Job requires employee to sit for extended periods of time, lift objects up to 30 lbs, grasp, carry, walk, speak, and listen.
  • Work is performed mostly in a controlled office environment. The noise level is the work environment is usually moderate.
