Centric Aviation is Hiring an Aircraft Fueler Near Alamosa, CO

We are seeking self-motivated, safe, positive, enthusiastic, goal oriented individuals for immediate part time and full time openings as a Line Service Technician/Aircraft Fueler (LST).

Experience with aviation ground handling services is very much desired. Centric Aviation has a thorough training program to ensure that all of our employees exceed the highest levels of safety and customer service. This position does require you to work in all weather conditions, and flexibility with your schedule is a must.

Expectations:

  • Deliver a proactive, personalized service experience to private and business aviation clientele.
  • Provide a variety of aircraft services, including marshaling, fueling, hangar storage, towing and other ground support.
  • Coordinate and direct ramp movements for arriving and departing aircraft.
  • Operate ground service equipment, such as tugs, fuel trucks and customer vehicles
  • Transmit accurate information via various forms (radio, telephone, electronic, etc.)
  • Working closely with all team members to ensure customer needs are met
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to see and hear clearly
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and speak English clearly
  • Ability to climb, twist, bend, crouch, stoop, kneel and crawl
  • Ability to move in tight quarters
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions as needed
  • Ability to regularly push/pull up to 70 pounds
  • Ability to regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds

Other Requirements

  • Ability to operate a computer
  • Ability to write legibly
  • Ability to pass a drug screen
  • Ability to pass criminal history records check
  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • A valid state drivers license and meet the company's insurability requirements

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
