Responsibilities
- Professionally and courteously greet clinic patients arriving for appointments
- Answer and operate a multi-line telephone system
- Schedules appointments
- Enter and update patient information into database
- Call insurance companies to obtain pre-authorization for various services and procedures
- Receive payment and co-payment for services performed in the clinic
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal capabilities, including empathy and compassion
- Ability to think critically, analyze information and solve problems as they arise
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and use good judgment
