Central Valley Meat is Hiring a HR Coordinator Near Hanford, CA

Would you like to be a part of an industry leading HR Team? The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills and is confident in speaking with team members at all levels. We enjoy working with people who think ‘outside-the-box’ and are always interested in process improvement. You will be directly interacting with team members to answer general questions relating to attendance, time-off requests, employee meat orders, and attendance corrective actions. Position details listed below.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Initiate return to work documents
  • Enter attendance points and initiate attendance step notices for departments
  • Contact employees regarding attendance matters
  • Track attendance call-offs – distribute to management
  • Maintain team member personnel forms and files
  • Work directly with managers and supervisors in accurate tracking of attendance control program
  • Administer attendance points and track for completion
  • Communicate with leadership team on recommendations for progressive discipline

COMPETENCIES:

  • MUST be bilingual in Spanish
  • Minimum 2-yrs experience within an HR Department in a similar role
  • MUST have strong Excel experience in creating and using pivot tables, Vlookup’s, and or matching
  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism in handling confidential information
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadlines
  • Solid knowledge of HR policies and best practices
