Central Valley Child Care is Hiring a Childcare Provider Near Silverdale, WA

Childcare Preschool Teacher

Our Silverdale Center is a small home-like childcare consisting of one Preschool classroom of 20 children. We are searching for an experienced Preschool teacher to Co-Lead our class. This position works Monday through Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm. Schedule may vary some due to co-worker days off, etc. but is generally very consistent.

Qualified candidates will have experience leading a Preschool classroom in a DCYF Licensed child care center. Our Lead Teachers plan and implement curriculum, design a positive, fun daily experience for our children and respond to childrens individual needs and development.

Experience working in a licensed child care, attention to detail, prioritizing the children's needs, regular attendance and the desire to make your workplace fun are very important to us!

Requirements:

-Current food handler’s permit

-Meet all Department of Children, Youth and Family training requirements for Lead Teacher

-Experience working in Licensed Child Care

-Ability to manage children’s behaviors in a positive manner in accordance with Center Policies

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
