Central Valley Business Forms is Hiring a Billing Clerk Near Visalia, CA

Job Summary:

The Billing Clerk will gather data, calculate charges and fees, and create invoices for billing purposes.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Calculates costs for goods, services, and delivery/shipment of goods.

· Verifies accuracy of billing data, correcting any errors.

· Creates invoices, and other necessary billing documents, which may require calculation of credit terms, shipping charges, discounts, and costs of goods.

· Records amounts due for items purchased or services rendered.

· Performs general bookkeeping work, which may include entering data and maintaining records, invoices, and supporting documents of amounts due for items purchased or services rendered.

· Contacts customers and/or vendors to obtain, verify, and update account information when necessary.

· Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Basic understanding of clerical and administrative procedures.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to solve problems as they arise.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

HOURS - we're flexible if someone would like to work 6 hour days Monday through Friday or three 8 hour days a week. Only specific day required is you will need to work the last day of each month for months end.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week

Physical setting:

  • Office

Supplemental pay types:

  • Commission pay

  • Visalia, CA 93291: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
