Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Organist/Keyboardist to join our team. As an Organist/Keyboardist, you will play a vital role in enhancing our worship services and creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. Responsibilities:
- Provide musical accompaniment during worship services, including preludes, offertories, hymns, and postludes
- Collaborate with the choir director and other musicians to create cohesive and harmonious performances
- Select appropriate musical pieces that align with the theme of each service
- Rehearse with the choir and other musicians to ensure seamless integration of music into the worship service
- Maintain and tune the organ and keyboard instruments
- Assist in planning special musical events or concerts as needed

Experience:
- Proficient in playing the organ and keyboard instruments
- Strong knowledge of music theory, including sight-reading and improvisation skills
- Experience accompanying choirs or congregational singing is preferred
- Familiarity with a variety of musical styles, including traditional hymns, contemporary worship songs, and classical compositions
- Ability to work collaboratively with other musicians and adapt to different musical styles
- Previous experience playing in a church or religious setting is desirable

Skills:
- Excellent proficiency in playing the organ and keyboard instruments
- Strong understanding of music theory and ability to read sheet music
- Ability to adapt to different musical styles and genres
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with choir directors and other musicians
