Central Texas Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital is Searching for an Emergency Surgery Coordinator for their South Austin Hospital.

We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon or surgical residency-trained Veterinarian to act as an Emergency Surgery Coordinator AND who will be a positive member of our community, will embody the CTVSEH core values, and will serve as an example to all staff.
Your role as the Emergency Surgery Coordinator will be to
Create the surgeon on-call schedule
Cover 25-50% of the on-call shifts per month
Organize and train emergency veterinarians in surgery with the vision of surgically experienced ER veterinarians sharing the on-call load with the surgeon team.
Schedule:
No scheduled “day” surgical responsibilities.
Cover 25% - 50% of on-call surgeries
Qualifications/Requirements:
Must be a board-certified surgeon or surgical residency trained veterinarian.
If additional “day” surgeries are performed, base would be in accordance with projected sales.
