Position Overview
This role provides nutrition education to the population served by the Central Texas Food Bank including CTFB direct clients, Partner Agencies, and Children’s Programs. Within this position, you will be operating both in-house and in the community at our local and regional partners, providing nutrition education and training. This position represents a critical role within the Food Bank to properly address health among food insecure clients by helping those clients to live healthier, more stable, and self-sustaining lives.
Relationships
Building and maintaining collaborative and meaningful relationships is a core component of this position. Reporting to the Nutrition Education Manager within the Client Programs and Services area, this position works cohesively with team members. Additionally, this position will also need to nurture strong connections with colleagues on various teams to ensure nutrition education is broadly accessible. Proven and demonstrated professionalism and effective communication skills are necessary for this role.
