POSITION: Medical Assisting Instructor

CAMPUS: Drumright

PRIMARY FUNCTION: To provide effective instruction in Medical Assisting necessary to prepare students for employment in business and industry.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Campus Director

SKILLS REQUIRED: Must have good interpersonal relationship skills and utilize good verbal and written communication. Must be able to develop or modify curriculum to meet individual program requirements. Must be a good role model. Must possess and maintain a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Three to five years recent work experience in the health care industry. At least two years nursing experience, with at least one year in long-term care facility services. Teaching experience preferred.

EDUCATION: LPN required. Registered Nurse with Bachelor’s degree preferred.

STARTING DATE: August 1, 2024

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Ten-Month Contract – Certified/Exempt
