Job Description
We are seeking a Full time Physical Therapist to join our team! The available position is a mixed caseload with both pediatric and adult patients, however the caseload can be adjusted to adults only. Services are provided in our West Des Moines clinic as well as private homes and daycare facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on habilitation and rehabilitation
- Work directly with patients and their families to accomplish goals
- Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
- Record and document patient care services
- Collaborate with other team professionals to achieve well-rounded care.
- Our team of professionals includes physical, occupation and speech/language therapists
Qualifications:
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to build rapport with patients and families
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Desire to grow skills as a physical therapist for a diverse caseload
