This position is eligible for relocation assistance, great benefits, and a CRITICAL POSITION BONUS equal to $10,000! 

Current employees are not eligible for the Critical Position Bonus.

CPH is located in the heart of the Kenai Peninsula, and is commonly referred to as "Alaska's Playground" because of the many opportunities for fishing, hiking, camping, and exploring all that Alaska has to offer. CPH allows you to enjoy a spectacular rural setting while offering state of the art technology and patient care. Along with our specialties of Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, Serology, Urinalysis, and Microbiology, we were among the first in our state to incorporate Molecular testing into our routine workflow. Our central location allows us to provide quality 24-hour inpatient and outpatient services to the surrounding communities in addition to supporting physicians in diverse medical practices including Oncology, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Spine and Urology. 

ABOUT THE JOB:

CPH is seeking to hire a Medical Technologist I that represents our organization with professionalism and enthusiasm. The Medical Technologist I is a generalist position responsible for performing and evaluating various laboratory tests on patient specimens providing data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease in designated areas of the laboratory.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Medical Technologist I performs and evaluates various laboratory tests on patient specimens providing data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease, and provides supervision for designated areas of the laboratory.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate's Degree
  • Medical Laboratory Technician, MLT (ASCP), or equivalent.
