POSITION SUMMARY: The LPN position requires knowledge of competency in performing nursing care procedures, assessments, treatments, and techniques utilized within a physician's office or clinic setting. The incumbent provides professional nursing services in support of medical care directed by the provider. Works closely with or may lead other professional and ancillary personnel in providing total nursing care to patients. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examinations or procedures, drawing blood and administering medications or treatments as directed by a medical provider. The LPN is an integral part of the interdisciplinary team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Successful completion of a Licensed Practical Nurse Training Program 
• State of Alaska LPN Licensure
• BLSP (CPR) from the American Heart Association
