POSITION SUMMARY: The Clerical Certified Nursing Assistant in the Pre-Operative Clinic provides clerical and nursing support duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the Pre-Operative Clinic. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs, and preparing patients for examination.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or GED
• One years experience in a Healthcare setting
• Certified Nursing Assistant Licensure from the State of Alaska.
• BLSP(CPR)
• Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately.
• Ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of individuals.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills with a working knowledge of some common computer programs.
