Central Peninsula General Hospital is Hiring a RN - Surgical Navigator Near Soldotna, AK
POSITION SUMMARY: Partners with the Lead Surgical Navigator, surgeons and anesthesia to manage the surgical experience for patients undergoing elective surgery withinthe Surgery and Inpatient departments. Implements functional strategies for the optimal perioperative care of the surgical patient by developing,implementing and evaluating individual patient goals. Must apply flexibility and adaptability based on departmental and patient needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate's in Nursing
- Minimum of 3 years recent acute care hospital experience
- Current licensure in the State of Alaska as a Registered Nurse.
- BLSP certification
- Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing knowledge and skills
- Multifaceted knowledge of joint replacement procedures and solid knowledge of the overall departmental functions.
- Multifaceted knowledge of surgical spine procedures and solid knowledge of the overall departmental functions.
PREFERRED:
- Bachelor's in Nursing
- Certification in one specialty area of nursing
