Summary:
CNY Fabrication is seeking a Production Technician to join our team as we grow and diversify, in a fast-paced, results-oriented contract manufacturing environment. As Production Technician you will operate automated and manual equipment to produce parts to specification under the guidance of your team lead. The successful candidate will be highly motivated to learn and grow with our team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn to operate touch screen PLC controls on automated equipment.
- Read and understand work order job travelers and work instructions.
- Develop & maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
- Setup, operate, and maintain automated and manual processing and material handling equipment.
- Accurately scan in and out of work orders to record labor.
- Assist fellow associates with handling large or awkward parts.
- Use basic measuring tools to inspect parts for conformance to specifications.
- Maintain quality and run yields.
- Partner with your lead and experienced team to learn new tasks and improve quality and performance on those that are familiar.
- Perform general maintenance on equipment and tools.
- Adhere to all G. A. Braun Standards of Conduct and Company Policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
