Position Summary
This is a renewable position contingent upon grant funding. Under the supervision of the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and with the sponsorship of the College Food Security Initiative Grant.
This role serves as the coordinator of basic needs resources for college students and staff. Under the supervision of the Director of DEI, the Campus Cabinet Coordinator with organize food security initiatives, assist with managing Campus Cabinet operations, and identify resource gaps that the CCC community may be facing.
The coordinator will also serve as a representative of the department of DEI and be required to foster a caring and inclusion environment on campus.
Duties & Responsibilities
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Requires frequent and continuous sitting / moving about, continuous use of fine motor skills. Requires lifting, carrying, and pushing or pulling of up to 30 lbs.
SCHEDULE DETAILS :
Part-time hours may vary depending on needs of the position, not exceeding 29 hours per week. Some travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications :

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Experience and desire to work with a diverse population.
Ability to efficiently operate a computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
Must be able to communicate effectively and appropriately.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team member.
High school diploma required with a minimum of two (2) years of work experience.
An associates degree in a social science or nutrition.
Experience working at a food bank or grocery store.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
