CMMHC has a rewarding opportunity to serve as a Per Diem/On Call Chemical Dependency Technicians(CDT)/Certified Nursing Assistant(CNA) within our Detox St Cloudteam. HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT

As a CNA or CDT, you are essential to CMMHC’s Detox program. Along with your Detox co-workers, you will work as a team to support and monitor our clients. The CNA-CDT provides ongoing support and supervision to clients. The Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Physically observe clients, at minimum, twice hourly (more often if need arises), document observation on individual rounds sheets.
  • Launder client clothing, label, mark, and store appropriately.
  • Correctly Inventory client possessions and store in locked designated area following detox protocols
  • When delegated by nursing staff, transport clients following CMMHC’s protocol, to identified setting when appropriate.
  • Order client meals through contracted caterer.
  • Distribute catered meals to clients following infection control compliance.
  • Monitor and report to nursing staff any concerns with a client’s activities of daily living (ADLs) and behaviors.
  • Report any incidents, potential injuries, accidents, and potential property damage immediately to the designated nurse on duty and thoroughly complete appropriate incident/damage report form.
  • Respond to residents’ questions and concerns on an as needed basis.
  • Administers scheduled medications as ordered by the Medical Director or consulting physician.
  • Administers PRN medications as delegated by licensed nurse on duty.
