Central Michigan University is Hiring a COORDINATOR/EDUCATOR PREPARATION PROGRAMS Near Mount Pleasant, MI

Leads the coordination of the Educator Preparation Programs (EPP) Shared Governance system and the EPP curriculum process. Coordinates and oversees all facets of the undergraduate admission process. Monitors and updates education program transfer and articulation guides. Coordinates the daily operation of the Office of Educator Preparation (OEPP) in collaboration with the Director of Educator Preparation Programs.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Three years of experience in a PK-12 or higher education environment.
Excellent skills in organization, communication, human relations, and collaboration.
Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications for data gathering, analysis, and dissemination.
Demonstrated skills in communicating with stakeholders both verbally and in professional writing.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to project a positive, professional image in person and virtually.
Demonstrated Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and other EPP initiatives that support the vision and mission of the EPP.
Ability to perform the essential functions and requirements of the job with our without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to perform occasional evening and weekend work.
Preferred Qualifications
Five years of experience in a PK-12 or higher education environment.
Experience with curriculum, bulletin language, and/or articulation agreements.
Experience with fiscal management and/or familiarity with enterprise financial system such as SAP.
Experience with web sites.
Project management experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborates with the Director of the OEPP to coordinate the daily operations and essential functions of the Office of Educator Preparation Programs and the management of the OEPP Shared Governance System.
Serves as a resource for campus partners including students and faculty regarding issues of admission to the teacher education program.
Leads the coordination of the undergraduate admission process and monitors the collection of relevant admission data.
Serves as the EPP Quality Assurance System (QAS) Curriculum Coordinator and coordinates the EPP Shared Governance Subcommittees for accreditation reporting.
Coordinates the annual revision of the OEPP website and other educator preparation publications for the EPP.
Oversees and completes the Michigan Test for Teacher Certification( MTTC ) eligibility and verification process, MTTC voucher program, and provides backup support for teacher education certification.
Serves on educator preparation committees as needed and assigned by the Director of Educator Preparation.
Implements Bulletin changes to the B.S. in Education degrees.
Updates all articulation agreements, transfer guides, and pathway guides for Teacher Education programs.
Coordinates the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Articulation Agreements.
Coordinates special projects such as the Students Education Every Child conference and the Teacher Admission Ceremony. This includes assisting with additional OEPP special projects as directed by the Director of the OEPP.
Oversees the Teach Grant eligibility for teacher education students.
Provides supervision and administration of student employees, including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and time management.
