Up to $5,000 sign on bonus available!* This is a Full Time, benefits eligible position on the night shift Position Summary: The CNA provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a RN or physician. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, emotional support and performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of a RN. Education and Experience: • Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in the State of Maine required • Active on the State of Maine CNA registry required • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS within 6 months of hire required • 1 year of continuous CNA experience preferred • High School graduate or equivalent preferred What You Will Be Doing: Assist patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care and comfort. Communicate with providers and team members about changes in patient's clinical condition and needs of the patient’s family. Provide direct and indirect patient care services that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care. Provide care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Ensures patient information is kept private by following HIPPA privacy standards.
