Central Lakes College is Hiring a Music Instructor Near Brainerd, MN
Position Details
SALARY:Commensurate with education and experience in accordance with the Minnesota State College Faculty Master Contract.
- Instructional planning, teaching, and evaluation of students in the classroom and in applied individual lessons for piano and/or string instruments.
- Assessment of student learning outcomes at course level, program level, and college-wide level.
- Informal student advising.
- Maintenance of professional skills and credentials.
- Work with dean and division faculty to maintain and revise curriculum as needed.
- Participation in college-wide committees, as time allows.
- Demonstrate familiarity with and commitment to the mission and constituencies of a comprehensive community and technical college.
- Dedication to teaching and student learning providing quality education emphasizing college level standards.
- Commitment to studying, analyzing, and implementing learning strategies that will help students reach their education goals.
- Experience using teaching techniques that support diverse learning styles.
- Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
- Demonstrate high level of cultural competency and ability to building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, aligning with CLC’s Culture of Caring environment.
